Help Please!
I've put this at the top of the item in the hopes that someone might see it and be able to assist. I have a couple of displays that I would like to put up around the school to celebrate our students' efforts and was wondering if there are any parents out there who wouldn't mind preparing some of these works for display. I could give you what you need to take the work home and frame it and then return to me when you are finished. If you think that this would interest you and you have the time, please either pop by the art room and we can have a chat, or send me an email at ann-maree.bosomworth@education.vic.gov.au
A Busy and Creative Start to the Term!
It’s been a vibrant and hands-on start to the term in the Art Room, with students across all year levels diving into a wide range of creative projects.
- Preps have been inspired by the work of Eric Carle, creating vibrant paper collage pieces using hand-painted textures.
- Grade 1s are making bold, geometric cityscapes in the style of Paul Klee.
- Grade 2s are developing lovely tissue paper collage gardens, full of colour and cuteness!
- Grade 3s are exploring watercolour techniques to create whimsical birds with personality and flair.
- Grade 4s are channelling their inner costume designers, crafting fantastic dragon hats for their performance pieces
- Grade 5s are exploring texture and composition in a beautiful mixed media still life artwork.
- Our Grade 6s have been working collaboratively to design and paint sets for the upcoming school production of Shrek, focusing on the colourful and magical wedding scene – their teamwork and creativity are shining through!
It’s wonderful to see such enthusiasm and imagination on display in every class. We can’t wait to showcase some of this work around the school and at the upcoming production!
