Principal's Message

Carmela D'Amato

Dear Parents and Families,

I want to wish all of you a safe and happy term break.  We are looking forward to an amazing Term 3 where students will be exploring their History! All year levels will be undertaking learning in various aspects of history, from their own family history, looking at how communication has changed over time, researching about how construction and homes have changed over time, looking at the changes in machines, researching how we can improve life through innovations, investigating how gaming and entertainment has changed over time and explore robots and technological advances. Such exciting concepts to be learning about.   Please look out for the termly overviews that will be released at the end of week 2.

Thank you to everyone who attended our celebration of Learning on Monday. Our students were excited to show you their learning and were excited to have you in our spaces.

Next Term, although short, we have many exciting events happening, including our inaugural TRIVIA NIGHT on the 1st August at Skyways. We thank our Parent Association for everything that they have planned so far. If you haven't booked a ticket, please do so as soon as you can!

Thank you to our parents for submitting their feedback regarding our assemblies. The feedback has been great and has given us some great insights into what we could possibly change. For the remainder of the year, our assemblies will continue to be held on Wednesday afternoons in the format we have been following and any changes will be implemented in 2026.

Upcoming assemblies:

Wednesday 20th August 2:30pm Year 5

Wednesday 10th September 2:30pm: Prep

Wednesday 29th October 2:30pm: Year 1

Tuesday 16th December 9:15am-10:00 Year 6

Have an absolutely wonderful, safe break and see you next term!

Sincerely,

Carmela
