Grade F/1H

Welcome to Term Three!!!

It is always wonderful to see everyone after the holidays and hear about all their adventures.

Semester One passed quickly, and students have now settled into another busy term. Last term concluded positively with an excursion to the cinema and the Grade 1/2 Camp Experience.

This term began with a continued emphasis on being active learners in the classroom, and it's been great to see the noticeable progress since the start of the year. The children have settled back into school routines with ease and are engaging well in their learning. This focus will remain a priority throughout the rest of the term and into Term 4.

In the classroom, students have been actively involved in a range of learning across literacy, maths, and Religious Education. Our daily two-hour literacy block continues to be a valuable and engaging part of the day, filled with diverse learning opportunities. Students are consistently participating in the InitiaLit and Storybook programs, which play a key role in supporting their growth in reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, and comprehension, meeting the individual needs of all learners.

Parent Teacher Interviews are taking place this week and provide a valuable opportunity to connect and discuss your child’s learning progress and achievements.

Please feel free to get in touch via email or Class Dojo if you have any concerns or questions and we look forward to a productive term three.
