Mrs Conroy's High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) Art group worked very hard last term to create a collaborative piece for the Cultural Calendar for the Diversity Competition. The artwork had to be based on the theme 'Towards Peace' and focus on the lunar year of the kookaburra and horse. Their artist statement is below.

Natures Guardians - A Trio of Peace

This collaborative artwork, by six HPGE students, explores peace through the kookaburra, horse and peace dove. The kookaburra symbolises joy and unity, the horse represents strength and the journey towards peace and the dove embodies hope. It encourages fostering a peaceful community for a brighter future.

Win or not, this group has demonstrated true talent, kindness and dedication throughout their art lessons and they should be very proud of themselves.
