Discovery Open Afternoon - The Farm

What an amazing afternoon it was!  After a whole term of learning everything about the'farm' in Discovery as well as going to Bundoora farm, it culminated with a wonderful open afternoon where our preps showed their families and friends, their amazing dioramas that they made. They were super excited and so proud of their work!  The students were required to plan their projects,  make some animals in their habitats and decorate their shoe boxes.

They had lots of fun! Throughout the term, students read about farms, looked at pictures, played farm bingo, made 'ducks in ponds', pigs in mud and other craft activities. It was their first time making dioramas, and they did a brilliant job.

Thank you to all the wonderful families and friends who came to visit and listen to the preps talk about their projects/dioramas. This term we are learning all about 'Community Helpers'.
