Foundation

In Foundation, we have been exploring measurement, in particular length.
We have learnt the difference between long and short and can now use the language long, longer, longest, short, shorter, shortest and equal.
We used informal units to measure all different things such as our friends, our body parts and objects around the classroom.
We learnt about the importance of using a consistent unit (eg: icy pole sticks, unifix blocks…) measuring from end to end and leaving no gaps in between.
