Learning & Teaching

Semester 1 Reports
Released Final Day of Term 2
In 2025, our Semester reports in Compass and Maestro will contain:
Learning Behaviour Reports: Year 7-12 in every subject
Performance Grades on summative tasks: Year 7-12
Unit results for VCE subjects
Attendance Data: overall 'in-class' attendance percentage and total days of absence.
The Victorian Curriculum level report for students in Year 7-10 for each subject, in Maestro.
Termly Learning Behaviours Reports
Towards the end of each Term, teachers and students assess the learning behaviours that students demonstrated throughout the term. These are simple reports that provide comparative data of how the teacher sees the learning behaviours of the students with how the student sees their own learning behaviour, and are presented as a graphic allowing for comparisons between learning behaviours as the year progresses. This comparative data can be an effective conversation starter at home.
We encourage teachers to give feedback on overall progress throughout the term as a way to send a clear message about learning growth as demonstrated in their assessments.
These checklists help teachers and students make their learning behaviour determinations:
Year 9 Respect Project
Wed 2 July
It can be difficult for students in adolescence to navigate how to recognise, develop and maintain healthy relationships with friends, family and partner relationships. Our students often experience conflict within friendships, banter gone wrong, unhealthy relationships and are unable recognise and deal with inappropriate behaviours from others.
In this program, Year 9 students will participate in three specially designed, interactive workshops to build their skills to deal with future relationships challenges.
Humorous or Harassment? - Your rights and responsibilities - Mrs Moran & Mr Horner
Common Ground - Responding and responding conflict - Mr Black & Ms Collings
Safe Bonds - Safe Boundaries - Understanding coercive control - Mr Ganesan & Miss Robinson
Donuts will be provided at recess.
