Physical Education

Hi families,

It has been a busy 2 weeks in PE.

Preps have been practicing their rolling skills, trying to roll to a partner or hit a target.

Grade 1 and 2 have been working on their bouncing skills and trying to keep control of the ball when bouncing.

Grade 3/4s have been participating in net/wall games which included squash.

Grade 5/6s have been partaking in SEPEP (Sport Education in Physical Education Program) where they take on the responsibilities of referee, coach, timekeeper and scorer while playing a round robin with the invasion game of their choice.

District Winter Sports Day

Rolling Hills had a fantastic day out on Friday the 20th of June. Students all represented Rolling Hills tremendously well, demonstrating outstanding skills and sportsmanship.

All 3 teams in netball made it to the grand final with one team winning it.

Tball had a great day with both teams making the grade final with one winning.

Soccer had a fun day and were very competitive.

AFL had an exciting day with one team winning the grand final.

Well done everyone!

5/6 Hoop Time

5/6 Hoop Time will be occurring on Monday 28th of July. If you would like to help out on the day please email me at charlotte.twentyman@education.vic.gov.au

All helpers will need to complete an OHS/ChildSafe Induction (if you have not previously) and provide admin with your current WWCC prior to the event.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Twentyman
