Grade 2 | Xavier | Curiosity | Xavier has contributed to our inquiry unit on Sustainability by asking many questions, sharing his noticings of our sustainable practices and contributing to class discussions and reflections on our excursion to Merri Creek |

When Liam finds learning experiences difficult, he still ‘has a go’ and asks questions as needed. Liam will put effort into his work until it has been completed to the best of his ability. Prep/1 | Marcelle | Curiosity | Marcelle is always the first student to notice new things around the classroom and in her learning. She constantly asks questions about new concepts and challenges herself when she might not be sure about something by giving it a go. Marcelle’s curiosity allows her to notice the little things in learning, and often is a great help at reminding me when I might have missed that small piece of detail. Your curiosity is going to take far Marcelle, amazing work, keep it up!

Grade 2 | Ava | Independence | Ava, you are showing more confidence in beginning your work independently and using your time wisely to complete tasks. It is great to see you focus on doing your best and showing pride in your work. It is wonderful to see you contributing to both class and small group discussions. Also pleasing is the way you ask questions when clarification is needed. Keep up the good work Ava! |

I love how you are dedicated to producing TWO pages of work EVERY lesson. You confidently choose to work alone when you know it will help you focus and when it’ll lead to awesome work. |
5/6 A | Ruby | Reflection | For self checking her work with the aim of improving it and learning from her mistakes. Ruby seeks feedback and acts upon it. Ruby makes connections to real life situations and we are pleased she was able to help the Grade 2s in their Body Bright sessions on Monday by reflecting on how being an upstander has helped her.
