Whole School Earn and Learn Day

Dear Families.
Get ready – our school will be buzzing with excitement on Monday 16 June as the Grade 5/6 students bring their small businesses to life for our whole school Earn & Learn Market Day!
Our Year 5/6 students have been participating in a special Economics & Business unit called Earn & Learn. In small teams, they have developed their own businesses - designing logos, calculating costs and prices, and creating real products to sell.
Throughout the day, classes will visit the market in scheduled time slots to browse, purchase, and enjoy a fantastic range of handmade crafts and delicious food items designed, made, and marketed by our Year 5/6 students.
Product prices range from $2 to $5, and include things like:
- Bracelets, keychains, felt toys, clay animals and slime.
- Donuts, lemonade, cupcakes, waffles, crepes, mochi, jelly, baked goods, and more!
All food products are nut-free, and each stall will have recipes available to support students and families with any dietary considerations.
This market is the result of weeks of hard work, creativity, and entrepreneurship from our senior students. Most importantly, all profits raised on the day will be donated to a charity chosen by the Grade 5/6 students, as part of their mission to give back to the community.
We hope you’ll join us in supporting their efforts by sending your child along with a small amount of money if they’d like to make a purchase.
