Weekly Wrap: Year 5/6
This week in Literacy students have been practising learning how to join to and from the letter s. They are completing Word Origins lessons on the morpheme ‘duce/duct’, meaning to lead, bring forward. We then have been creating new words by adding prefixes such as con (with, together), re (back, again), and de (un, down, off, totally, out, away). Students have also been learning tools to create an action narrative with the use of the model text ‘Eureka’.
