Level 2

What a lovely start to Term 3 we have had in Level 2!

Reading

In Reading, we have been focusing on predicting! It is very important to predict as this helps us stay engaged and helps us with our comprehension. We can predict by looking at the words, pictures and the blurb. We have also been looking at dictionaries to find definitions of words we don't know!

Writing

In Writing, we have started poetry! No more 'roses are red, violets are blue'... We have looked into more exciting ways of writing poems. Acrostic, concrete/shape, diamonte! So much fun!

Maths

We have been working on addition and subtraction sequences in Maths. Addition and subtraction sequences are number patterns where you keep adding or taking away the same number each time to get the next number. I wonder if you can figure out the pattern and what comes next in this sequence: 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, 28, ___, ___, ___.

WHAT A KNIGHT!
