Science Talent Search
This year HEPS have 11 students from Grades 5 and 6 participating in the Science Talent Search competition. The submitted projects included posters, online games, games, photography and creative writing. Below is a small selection of the submissions:
National Science Week: Decoding the Universe
HEPS will again be celebrating National Science Week. Between the 9th and 17th August students will be provided with the opportunity to participate in a range of building challenges (Teachers v Students) and explore, engage and experiment in the wonders of science through hands on exploration during lunch clubs.
Some of the opportunities are testing conductivity, exploring energy through plasma balls and energy sticks, explore light and rainbows using light boxes and prisms and creating crystals.
Instrumental Music Lessons
Learning a musical instrument is a wonderful way for your child to develop all manner of skills and neural pathways in their brain.
