WIRED Live Theatre Performance

Years 7, 8 and 9 – Monday 21 & Tuesday 22 August

WIRED follows the journey of two students whose lives are spiraling in different directions: one towards stress, anxiety and overload, and the other towards depression and disconnection. When their worlds collide, the audience must help them choose a different path.

Wired is an interactive theatre experience that tackles some of the big issues affecting Australian students, including social isolation, bullying, online safety, school stressors, family relationships, and pressure from social media. It addresses barriers to help-seeking and provides strategies for resilience, problem-solving, goal-setting, and positive mental health.

Year 10 Positive Futures Program – Pathways to Adulting

An alternative day of programming for all Year 10 students on Tuesday 10 October (week 2, term 4). Throughout the day, students will participate in a range of workshops designed to assist them in making informed and positive decisions. Students will gain knowledge and skills in road safety, assertive communication skills, party-safe strategies, and the laws and legislation that govern their lives and interactions as young people make their way to adulthood. The programs will be delivered by the following providers:

The program has been carefully curated by our House and Well-being Teams.

We want all our students to not just have the information they need to make informed smart choices, but the skills and courage to do so when it's not so easy. We will kick off the day with a picnic breakfast and some warm-up activities ensuring the mind and body are ready for the day. Full details and scheduling will be published in Xuno.

Body Project – Term 4 The Body Project is a 4-week program for young people who want to improve their body image.
