VET IN SCHOOLS TAFE APPLICATIONS 

Both South and North Metro TAFE have released the 2024 program for Year 10 & 11's. Please see the attached link. Applications close end of August.

I&E Site Visit

The I&E students spent the morning at Barminco in Hazelmere learning about the opportunities on offer in hard rock underground mining in Australia, Africa and North America. We had many members of the team speak to us about their pathway followed by morning tea and a tour of the workshop. It was interesting to hear about the future of the mining industry and what the boys should be doing to be prepared for the workforce. Thank you to Mr Harvey and Mr Worth who joined us for the morning.

Applications for TAFE courses for 2024 open on September 1. Go HERE and fill out your application. 

Offers

Round 1 offers for competitive courses will be issued in early January 2024

Round 2 offers competitive courses will be made later in January 2024

Offers will be available online at tasonline.tafe.wa.edu.au and will be emailed.
