Cebula Boarding

Boarding News

With the winter sport season coming to an end, we have numerous boys playing in finals games across several sports. We have had over 80% of boarders take part in the winter sport season and they’re all to be commended for their commitment at training sessions during the week and weekend games, many of which require them to be up bright and early on weekend mornings. I’d like to thank the many day parents who help transport our boarders to their games each week, this support is invaluable and allows the boys to be an integral part of their teams. Thank you too, to the parents who, despite living some distance away, attend games to support their sons’ teams.

The College is preparing to undertake its student leadership process for 2024 and I’m delighted to have had four of our Year 11s put their name forward for Cebula Leadership. Well done to Joshua, Will, Clinton and Sam for their proactivity. In the coming weeks, they will have an opportunity to share their leadership vision with the boarding community before the boarders vote for their preferred candidates and the final selection of boarding leaders is completed in conjunction with the College.

Several new activities have been offered to the boarders over the next four weeks and into Term Four. These include a cooking program, kayaking, surfing lessons and an Aviation Club. We're delighted to be able to offer such wide and varied activities designed to give the boys some fantastic experiences.
