FairGo 4 Youth Fund

In May 2023, the Melton City Council launched the FairGo 4 Youth Fund, a newly developed initiative aimed at making extra-curricular activities more equitable and accessible to low-income families.

The fund covers up to $400 per year in registration costs for someone aged 8 to 16 to attend community activities that enrich their lives and education.  An additional $200 per year will be available for someone with a disability. 

Families are able to apply through the Melton City Council website to register with dozens of clubs like AFL, badminton, baseball and rugby, physical activity clubs like Scouts and Guides, dance and Taekwondo, and hobby groups from racing pigeons to fishing!
