Book Week

Established with the first awards in 1946, the annual CBCA Book of the Year Awards aim to promote quality literature for young Australians; support and encourage a wide range of Australian writers and illustrators of children’s books, and celebrate contributions to Australian children’s literature.

Book Week was held 19 to 25 August 2023, with plenty of fun and engaging activities held in the library, including movies, kahoot challenge, and flower and herb seed planting project.

This year's theme is Read. Grow. Inspire.

A special thanks to Bunnings Melton for donating products for our seed planting project.

Book Fair!

Hat's off to reading... was this years' theme for Book Fair.

Our student library helpers planned and managed Book Fair. The fair was held across three days and after school for families to browse and purchase items.

In total we had $1808 in sales. From this our school will receive credits to get more books for our library.

We thank students, families, and staff for supporting our Book Fair.
