Please keep a lookout for these in your cupboards, school bags, dirty clothes baskets, even under beds. We are still missing a considerable amount of shirts which will be required to be handed out for Gala Day.

Event Venues: Sports Dome Netball Complex, Jack Smyth Drive, Tamworth
Equipment & Uniform: Students are to wear their full school Netball uniform. Students are advised to bring sunscreen and a hat to wear at the trials. Please remember to bring adequate water for the day. If you require a netball uniform, please email Mrs Gippel. nmcculloch@arm.catholic.edu.au
Catering at the venue: There will be canteen facilities available.

Basketball 2023 Summer Comp (2nd Comp)
Just a few things to keep in mind from Tamworth Basketball:
- No Zone Defence is to be played in the Primary Competition.
- Teams who attain a 30-point lead during a game must retire to halfway after scoring further goals. Teams who attain a 50-point lead during a game must retire to their 3-point line in their half after scoring further goals. (All Game Rules can be found on each score bench for further details).
- If a player is missing from the team list on the tablet, please don’t add them. Please let the Court Supervisors know so that the issue can be resolved.
- Each team is to provide one person for scoring. This is an easy job and Court Supervisors and Referees are more than happy to help with learning the ropes. We have also provided information sheets on all benches to help with the operating of the clocks and tablets.
Tennis
Xavier Vine (1L) competed in the Regional Matchplay Tennis Tournament held at Farrer Memorial Agricultural High on Sunday 27th August.
The biggest age group of the carnival, saw them play 9 games of tennis, with some games lasting for over half an hour!!! It was close at the finish and Xavier came away with the Runners Up Trophy!! Big thanks to our coach, Mitch Power, and all the other competitors on the day for some great games of tennis.

The Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council is a body representative of the Catholic Education Office, Principals and Sports Coordinators from all Diocesan Primary Schools. The ADPSC offers a pathway for Armidale Diocesan students in most sports.
