Bush Poetry at the Primary

This Tuesday saw the successful launch of a Bush Poetry club at the primary. Over 40 primary students gathered in the school hall to hear from Mr Mike Cashman, local historian and active member of our P & F committee. Mr Cashman shared three bush poems with the group, who were able to follow along and join in with the poem themselves. 

 

This will be a three week program where the students will be able to experience different poems each week. We thanks Mr Cashman for his time and expertise, as well as Mrs Press for helping to coordinate the students. We will share photos in next week's newsletter!
