East Recreation Reserve and Playground

It has come to our attention over the last few days that there have been some safety concerns and instances of poor student behaviour occurring at the East Recreation Reserve and playground after school hours.

As a school community, the safety and well-being of our students are of utmost importance. Therefore, we would like to remind everyone of our expectations regarding student behaviour and safety after school.

School Expectations:

  1. Heading Straight Home: The expectation of the school is that all students head straight home from school at the end of each day. This ensures their safety and reduces the risk of any incidents occurring outside of school grounds.
  2. Adult Supervision: If students and families choose to visit the playground for recreational activities after school, it is imperative that they have adult supervision. Parents or guardians should accompany their children to ensure their safety and well-being.
  3. No Unattended Students: Under no circumstances should students be at the Playground unattended immediately after school. We encourage families to coordinate plans for after-school activities that prioritize safety and supervision.

We understand that the East Recreation Reserve and playground are popular destinations for families, and we appreciate everyone's cooperation in ensuring a safe environment for all. By working together, we can create a positive and secure community for our children to enjoy.
