Captains' Corner

Cadence Courtney and Chloe Noon - Sports Captains

On Tuesday, the vibrant spirit of competition was on display as both Secondary and Primary School students gathered at Nudgee College for our Interhouse Cross Country Carnival. Ms Hughes - Head of Sport and Activities, and the Sports Department, set up a great day for us which ran smoothly.

From the start line to the finish, the event showcased the true essence of sportsmanship and determination as students from all houses enthusiastically participated, striving to earn valuable points for their house. Following Campbell's win in swimming, there is much anticipation to see who will win the Cross Country!

As the Primary School students ran, their boundless energy and infectious enthusiasm lit up the field. It was heartening to witness their unwavering commitment and sheer joy as they raced towards the finish line. A big thank you to the Year 9 students who helped out and ran with the Primary students after their own race in the morning.

With the Interhouse Carnival behind us, our attention now turns to the upcoming QGSSSA Cross Country Championships on Saturday 18 May. Congratulations to all the students who placed and who made the team and will be competing for this event. As we get ready for this event, consistent training is the key to success. Stay updated with all the latest sport information through the College App, and let's continue to support each other.
