Unit 3 Biology

All Unit 3 Biology classes have been conducting experiments on Biochemical Reactions, with a particular focus on photosynthesis and cellular respiration and how enzymes regulate these processes. These experiments and the results collected, will then be used to form the basis for their upcoming SAC.

It has been wonderful to see the students wearing both their lab coats and safety glasses, performing experiments to test the theory we have been discussing in class. 

The photos attached show some of our students testing how the enzyme catalase, which breaks down hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen, is impacted by factors such as temperature and concentration.
