Director of Students Report

It has been pleasing to see everyone come back and settle into Term 2 with a busy start in terms of activities and excursions. Monivae is very quiet this week with Year 8’s out on Cadet Camp and Year 10’s on Work Experience.  The Year 10 Careers Camp takes place next week. There are a large number of staff involved in the planning, organisation and supervision of students for these experiences to run and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for providing these opportunities for our students to learn and grow in very different environments. Looking back on their time at school, these are some of the  best memories; the friendships and the challenges they overcome. Last night’s report from Cadet camp indicated that everyone was settled in nicely and things were going well.

Thank you to everyone who has updated their bus details, most of our issues have been resolved. If your child requires a bus pass, please put in a request 3 days in advance so that we have time to check if there is space on the bus (some buses are at capacity) and a pass can be issued.

With everyone in Winter Uniform this term, can you please ensure that all items of clothing are named, including blazers. This will ensure that items may be returned if they have been misplaced. There are regularly items of clothing left in the changerooms after PE and Sports Academy.

Accurate Clothing has advised that their order of Sports shirts have arrived and all sizes are currently available.
