Athletics Day

On Friday the 31st of May, St Mary's will be joining the Loddon Calder Sporting District to participate in our school Athletics. If you are available to be a group leader or a group assistant on the day please feel free to email Tayla ASPA or call the school so we can put your name down. If you get in quick you may be able to be with the group your child is in, which is an awesome opportunity to witness your child in action throughout the day. All volunteers will require a Working With Children's Check which will need to be seen at Office.

Mother's Day

This morning, we were gathered for our heartwarming Mother’s Day liturgy and morning tea in our newly arts precinct. We were delighted to welcome our student's mothers, grandmothers and special women in their lives for this joyous occasion. Our students, as always, shone brightly as they led us through a touching liturgy, each word spoken and song sung resonating with the spirit of love and appreciation for the mothers in our lives.

Catholic Educators Board Visit

At yesterday's St. Mary’s assembly, we were honoured to host Catholic Education Sandhurst Director Kate Fogarty, along with CES board members Joan Caldwell and Libby Barns, to join us as special guests.

Congratulations to our 5/6 students for their exceptional leadership during the assembly. We also want to give a special mention to those students who received awards along with those who earned their pen licences today. Your hard work and achievements, both in and out of the classroom, are truly remarkable. Keep up the fantastic work!

Inglewood Kindergarten visit

During the week, our F-4 students had the opportunity to visit the Inglewood Kindergarten. Our students enjoyed reading books, painting, playing and making friends with the kinder kids. It was a delightful experience fostering connections and fun. We are looking forward to visiting again!

Capturing our school community

Yesterday, our students welcomed Lars into our school community as he worked to capture our learning throughout the day. Stay tuned for upcoming student photos that reflect the spirit of our school.

Loddon Healthy Mind Art Competition

Foundation - Grade 3 students will be bringing home their Loddon Healthy Mind Art Competition colouring sheet along with the entry form. Students from St Mary's Primary school have participated in the competition for many years to raise awareness of mental health within the Loddon community.

This year, students will be asked to complete their competition entry at home, or if they prefer, they can complete it at school during break times only. The competition offers many awesome art prizes.

Foundation - Grade 2: Your Feelings Matter colouring sheet

Grade 3-4: Stay positive colour sheet

Grade 5-6: Create an art piece based on: Your feelings are valid, or Be thoughtful about what you share online.

If you require another colouring sheet for the Foundation - Grade 4 section, please let Tayla Fenwick know.
