Science
Term 2 is off to a great start in the science domain.
Our Year 5 and 6 students have joined an Astronaut Training Academy as part of their study of Earth and Space Science. Their skills of manual dexterity, problem solving and memory have been put to the test as they learn what it would take to travel to another planet.
In Year 10, students are studying genetics. They were able to extract DNA from strawberries in the lab, but the famous double helix was too small to see. Now we need to learn from the past collaboration of scientists across the world, to learn how the mysteries of this microscopic molecule have been unravelled.
