Literacy Learning

In the 1/2 classrooms students are engaged in writing, reading and speaking and listening activities. The activities are planned to meet students point of need. Students work with the teacher so that they are supported and explicitly taught new skills and they work collaboratively with each other.

Prep Excursion to Bundoora Farm

This week our Preps went on their very first excursion to Bundoora Farm. This excursion was linked to their Inquiry learning on Sustainability - 'Our Sustainable World'. They learnt about composting, farming, planting seeds and recycling.  Thanks to our wonderful Prep staff for looking after our Prep students and organising such an engaging and fun day of learning!

Playgroup at Trinity

Every Wednesday morning there is a wonderful buzz in our library at Trinty. It is filled with the beautiful sounds of babies and children who come along to play with their parents, grandparents, carers and other playgroup friends. Playgroup runs every Wednesday morning from 9am to 10:15am and is open to current families and all members of our community. For more information please contact our school office on 94287180 or feel free to come along and chat with our Prep Teacher and playgroup facilitator Kate Foley on Wednesday mornings in the library.
