ANZAC Day Children's Service

Canzona, alongside the Brisbane Boys' College students, participated in the ANZAC Day Children's Service at ANZAC Square in the city on Tuesday 23 April. Students from various Brisbane schools were present at this significant event. Dr Jeanette Young, the Governer, delivered a speech, while we contributed music throughout the service and wreath-laying ceremony. We extend our gratitude to Canzona for their exceptional representation of the College.

Additionally, the ANZAC Assembly was held at Clayfield College for the entire school community. Year 11 student, Mia Geere, delivered flawless renditions of the Last Post and the Rouse on the trumpet. The Allegria Chamber Strings performed a captivating rendition of 'Poppies', and both Canzona and Allegria contributed to the solemnity of the wreath-laying ceremony with their musical performances.
