BVPS v Glen Innes PS

On Thursday April 11 the Ben Venue cricket team played their second match for 2024 against Glen Innes PS  Ben Venue captain, Caleb Davies, won the toss and elected to bat. The Ben Venue opening batters Patrick Gordon again scored 41 before retiring and was well supported by Will Goodare (23) and Max Clee not out for 16.  After 25 overs Ben Venue had reached the very pleasing score of 127.  Glen Innes commenced their innings and were immediately in trouble with their score reaching 3 for 11 at 13 overs.  Ben Venue bowled and fielded very well and managed to restrict the opposition to just 30 runs off 25 overs. Ben Venue now go on to play either Warialda or Tenterfield P.S in the next round.
