What a WONDERFUL scripture passage we listen to in this weekend's Gospel: The Feeding of the Five Thousand. A story that shows us the food of life Jesus gives to all of us and the power he holds and brings to our everyday lives.

Did you know, that historically, only men were ever counted within old testament scripture. In reality, Jesus could have fed more like 10,000 to 15,000 people in this event assuming most of the men counted had a wife and a child.

May the loving presence and life-giving word of Jesus fill your hearts this week.

May God bless you and keep you,

Mr Angelo Iacopino
