Exciting Term 3 Events

Mackellar's Olympic Games!

Our Olympic Games on Thursday were a wonderful way to unite and get into the spirit of the most celebrated sporting competition and festival in the world!  It was an absolute joy to see our students having such a great time as they enjoyed the activities with a friendly, competitive spirit; basketball, AFL, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, dancing, chicken toss, egg and spoon and sack races!  Congratulations to all students for demonstrating our school values, particularly the values of Teamwork and Respect.

Sincere thanks to our amazing parents and carers who attended, coached and ran the rotational activities. Your presence made all the difference to the event.  We truly appreciate having our parents and carers volunteering or coming along to watch; it brings our community together and creates warm memories that are life-long treasures.

  • attend our special assembly dedicated to our dads/carers or special person
  • visit your child/childrens' classroom/s until 10.00am.
  • plant a small shrub with your child at the front of the school.

When:  Monday 26th August

Time:  8.30am to 11.00am

Father's Day, Special Person's Day Stall        Monday 26th August

Parent volunteers have already generously given their time to select gifts from a catalogue for this magnificent stall.  Sincere thanks to our amazing parents and carers who are working hard behind the scenes to make this happen for our students. A huge THANK YOU also to parents and carers who have plans to assist at the stall.  If you would like to assist, please contact our office.

Students will be able to purchase up to 3 gifts that will be priced from $1 to $5.

A timetable will allow students to visit the stall with their class and have plenty of time shopping.
