From the Deputy Principal

Mr Anthony Speranza

Dear families,

Green & Gold Day, Friday 2nd August

Tomorrow we will be acknowledging the National Green & Gold Day in support of the Australian Olympic Team. Students are invited to come in free dress casual clothes, wearing colours or accessories with the green and gold colours. Gold coin donations are encouraged on this day as a fundraiser towards Jump Rope for Heart. The students will be doing a few skipping activities and other fun games are planned. Families are welcome to our assembly which will be at 3:00pm.

Italian Day, Tuesday 6th August

Our annual Italian Day is around the corner and we look forward to celebrating all things Italian. There is no costume parade this year, however students are invited to come dressed in the colours of the Italian Flag: Dark Green, White and or Red. Students will participate in activities such as Bocce, Pasta Art, Tombola and Pizza Making.

You are all warmly invited to our morning Showcase, where your children will share aspects of their learning during the semester. The morning will commence at 9:05am in the Flexispace.  Each year level will be performing diverse activities ranging from role plays, singing, dancing, dialogues and fun facts about the earth.

Students will also be given the opportunity to make their own Margherita Pizza and eat it, as well as have a tasting of a small Italian Gelato, in a cup. The flavours being Cioccolato or Fragola (strawberry).
