Help Wanted:

Thank you for all the donations of small electrical appliances, bread tags, batteriesand printer cartridges.  We have reached capacity and are now in looking for volunteers to drop these items off, at local drop centres. There are drop off centres located in Hawthorn East and Burwood. Any assistance with disposing of these items would be greatly appreciated as it means we can start collecting more!  Please contact Brooke Danaher or Rebecca Smith if you are able to help.  

Garden Update:

The garden is looking phenomenal!  Thank you to all of the families who volunteered to water the garden over the holidays. The plants, possums and school community thank you! Here are some photos of how the vegetables are progressing- hopefully we will have some snow peas sprouting from those flowers in the very near future!

Farmer’s Pick

Thank you to Farmer’s Pick who donated all of the potatoes to the school so we are able to participate in the Potato Olympics!  If you are interested in ordering a Farmers Pick box, you can search Solway in the ‘Find myschool’ tab on the Farmer’s Pick Website. Orders must be in by Thursday 3pm for the following week Tuesday pickup. Collections are from the school hall between 3:20 pm and 3:40 pm.
