Book Week is Coming!
St Joseph's Primary is excited to be celebrating CBCA Book Week in August. Throughout the week of the 19th August, we look forward to celebrating all things READING, celebrating literature with some flare!
Our Year Six leaders are working busily behind the scenes to generate some excitement and some special events for the students across the school.
As is tradition, the week will end with a special celebration of a BOOK WEEK PARADE. Students are invited to dress up as their favourite book week character in celebration of Book Week. The theme for 2024 is, 'Reading is Magic'. Please keep an eye out in the bulletin for some additional information in the coming weeks.
Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge
St Joseph's participants have already read 1376 books!
We could not be more proud of the students working toward completing the VPRC. There are another 43 days to go before the challenge closes, so it is not too late to get involved if you wish. We look forward to celebrating the students who complete the challenge at its conclusion.
Happy Reading,
Alannah Harrison
