Principal's Report

This week we have had an abundant amount of activity at school with Term 3 Learning Conversations taking place. It was wonderful to see so many parents attending Learning Conversations. Whether they were online or in person, our teachers really enjoyed sharing their students' progress with you. For those who were onsite we hope you relished the opportunity to visit our Art Gallery pop-up display in the Rosarium. We have an abundance of artistic talent within our school.  Abundance is also the key message in this week's Gospel reading. When God promises to provide, he provides us with more than is necessary, ensuring we are fully satisfied. But if we are to lavish in this abundance we have to be able to trust in him, and take risks. This can be really hard, because great faith requires letting go of things like fear, expectations and sometimes even our securities. Yet, faith in God can bring true freedom. While we can apply this knowledge to various aspects of our own lives, we can also help our children experience God’s abundance in their learning journey. While some are kicking goals, others might be struggling to meet benchmarks. Either way, they all still need to continue to grow within the educational space and in order to do this, they must embrace some level of risk. Together we can support them to be the best they can be, and feel God’s presence in their lives.

With the return of school routines, also comes a reminder about road safety. It is great to see families using the drive through, remembering to remain in your car and making a lap if the children aren't ready. Conversely, it is extremely UNSAFE to have children running to get into a car that is in the middle of the road. Please park for pick up or use the drive through, we understand the busyness of life but safety remains paramount.
