One table left! - Bingo and Games Night – Saturday 24th August

It’s not too late to grab your tickets and come along to the Disney and Pixar themed Bingo and Games night on Saturday 24th August.

There is just 1 full table of 10 left and the theme for the table is Shrek, BUT if you would rather not dress up as adorable green ogres you can choose another Disney or Pixar film that is not already on the list!

For all those attending, don’t forget to bring gold coins to participate in games and bingo and come dressed up as much or as little as you would like! 7.15pm in the HEPS gym for a 7:30pm start$30 per person

The HEPS Parents Association are busy gathering donations to be used as raffle or auction prizes at the upcoming Bingo and Games Fundraising night on Saturday 24th August. If you own, work at or know a business that would like to donate goods or services, we would love to hear from you! We will provide advertising for the business on the night and in the school newsletter and a thank you certificate. If you can help please email the PA team at: pa@heathmonteastps.vic.edu.au

Father’s Day Stall – Wednesday 28th August

It’s nearly time for our annual Father’s Day stall where students will have the opportunity to bring up to $10 per child and purchase a small present for their Dad or special person in their life. There are still time slots available to help out on the stall and we love inviting volunteers from the whole school community to come along for part of the day to help serve the students who visit in class groups to make their purchases. Volunteering on the stall provides a lovely opportunity to see our children carefully consider their gift choices and practice their maths and money handling skills.All parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts, and uncles are welcome and need to hold a Working with Children check. The stall runs from 9am – 4pm and we are looking for helpers to fill the following time slots:

8am (Setup)

9am – 11:20am

11.20am – 12:50pm

2:00pm – 3:30pm

3:30pm – 4pm (Final sales and packup)

Term 4 save the date… Colour Run

Save the date for another fun HEPS colour run in term 4! On Wednesday 27th November we will once again have an active and colourful afternoon! More information to come, including some fun opportunities to volunteer, later in the year.
