Jumper presentation at Assembly on 27th February
Our Year 6's proudly celebrated their Year 6 jumper presentation at Assembly last Friday.
To recognise this special milestone in our students' leadership journey, we had our 2025 School Captains, Emily and Mark present them with their jumpers.
We thank Nerida Sibilia for her role in coordinating the purchase and distribution of the Year 6 jackets.
P.B.L. Badges
PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning) badges are awarded for semester 1 at last Friday's assembly. This is to recognize students who consistently demonstrate core values like safety, respect, and responsibility.
Prep Mass - Thank you
To all our Prep families, a huge thank you for joining us at our Prep Mass on 22nd February. Thank you for making the effort to bring them, and for teaching them to love God. You are building memories that will last a lifetime, and we are honored to walk this journey with you.

A reminder that there is a school closure day on Friday 6th March . All staff will be participating in a professional development day.
MACSEYE will be running a closure program on the day (as long as we have enough numbers)
Family Fun Night - Friday 27th March
One of the highlights of our school calendar is fast approaching, our Family Fun Night on 27th March, and we are making it easier than ever to enjoy the evening. We are transitioning to make the Family Fun Night as cashless as possible via CDFpay. Soon, you’ll be able to use the portal to:
- Purchase Entry Tickets: No more paperwork or cash envelopes.
- Pre-Order Food: Order elements of the food in advance so you can skip the queues and get straight to the fun!
Free chairs for families!

NAPLAN 2026
Students in Years three and five will participate in NAPLAN in March 2026. NAPLAN assesses student achievement in Literacy and Numeracy including Reading, Writing, Conventions of Language (Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation) and Numeracy.
NAPLAN provides information about student progress against national benchmarks and supports schools in planning for teaching and learning.
A NAPLAN 2026 information brochure for families is attached to this newsletter. Families are encouraged to read the brochure carefully, as it outlines key dates, assessment details and information regarding adjustments or withdrawal processes.

School Photos – Tuesday 17th March (No Sports Uniform)
School Photos will be taken on Tuesday 17th March. Please ensure that children are present at school on time to avoid them missing their class photo.
Note: children are required to wear the full school uniform on the day, not the sports uniform. (Student may bring runner in a bags for PE classes that are held on Tuesday)
All students received their personalised order flyer last week.
As all orders are placed online there is no need for families to return the order flyer to the school on photography day.
All students will be individually photographed as well as in their class group whether an order has been placed or not.
If you do not want your child photographed on this day or included in the class group photo, please contact the school office.
School Fee Statements
Accounts for 2026 have been emailed to families.
Please check your spam/junk folders, or contact the school office at office@saclaytonsth.catholic.edu.au if you do not receive it.
School fees are also avaible on the new CDFPay app
Please note that all payments made to the school office by card will incur a bank fee charge of .6%
2027 Prep Enrolments
Enrolments for Prep 2027 are now open and we encourage all families to submit their applications as soon as possible. If you have a child or you know someone wanting to tour schools for their child, please encourage them to book a school tour.
School Tours will be held on:
Saturday 28th February at 9am, 9.45am & 10.30am.
and Tuesday 31st March at 9am, 10am, 4pm & 5pm.

School Absentee notification
If your child will not be attending school you must notify the office by 9.30am on the day they will be away. The preferred method is to use the Audiri App and the eform Absentee Form.
The other method is to ring the school office on 9551 5094 and choose option 1 to leave a message. Emails can also be sent to office@saclaytonsth.catholic.edu.au
An SMS will be sent to parents that have not advised the school. This is now a legal requirement.
Zooper Dooper Friday
Children are invited to bring a $1.00 coin to school to purchase a Zooper Dooper this Friday.
We thank our Year 6 children for volunteering their time to support the sales of the Zooper Doopers.
Lost Property
Please check the lost property bin if you are missing any items.
Our lost property is stored in the blue wheelie bin.
It is helpful to mark your child/ren's item of clothing clearly to ensure a quick return.
