Sub School Updates

Welcome to Term 1, 2026!
Week 5
Please ensure you read your emails before students arrive and after students leave at a minimum to ensure you are up to date.
Tier 1 checklist: This year we are preparing a new Coaching for All Program which will utilise the checklist to identify areas for support. While you review this checklist, please begin to think about which areas of the checklist you are interested in learning more/improving.
Teacher Accountability
Teaching & Learning Work Program: Every Monday @9am
Maths & English Assessments: Please continue
Excursion Planner: 27/2/06
Yard duty: Please ensure you always have the latest yard duty timetable visible in your classroom and that you are familiar with your duty expectations.
Our focus is active supervision:
Roam – move continuously through your allocated area
Build rapport with students- engage them with games
Anticipate behaviours before they escalate- read the Playground Support Document
Phones away, please – full attention on students at all times
Thank you for your support in keeping our students safe and engaged.
Whole school important reminders
Seesaw is now up and running.
You should have received an email with login instructions. If you experience any difficulties signing in, please see me for support.
The minimum requirement is one photo per student per week. This is important in helping families see the wonderful learning and care you provide each day. Regular updates offer reassurance and help build strong, trusting relationships between families and staff.
Assessments
Please focus on assessment this week. They are a vital aspect of our teaching, and measure student progress, identify learning needs, ensuring instruction is targeted, effective, and equitable.

Secondary and Senior Secondary Sub School (Amelia Frantz & Sean Procko)
Welcome to Week 5 everyone.
- Please refer to the latest Yard Duty Timetable, sent on Monday 23.2.
- Please complete the CTM survey so we can improve the process. https://forms.gle/CfSLm5MhdFk2tEQ1A
- Please continue to use the student communication books as a main source of communication between staff and families and encourage families to do the same. This way the message will always get to staff at school. I (Amelia) asked parents in the newsletter to do the same.
- Please have a look through your green operations folder. If there is anything missing, let us know, we can give you more copies. BRPs/BSPs and RMPs need to be reprinted and updated everytime a new version is created. Old copies go in confidential waste.
- Please make sure items are returned to the curriculum cupboards and classrooms are clutter free and well organised. Cupboards should only have what you need in them. If you would like some assistance with classroom organisation, let us know.
