2026 Curriculum Teams

 

 

We have 5 curriculum teams that meet to plan learning across key curriculum areas each week.

  • Literacy (Communication)
  • Numeracy (Mini Woolies)
  • Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program
  • Wellbeing Tier 1 Practices (Sexual Health, Respectful Relationships, SWPBS, Power to Kids)
  • Adolescent Learning and Student Advocacy (VPC, Travel Ed and Living Skills)

 

Please complete the 2026 Curriculum Team Preference Survey no later than Friday 27th February.

 

We aim to give at least 1 of your top 2 choices,  and we endeavour to provide for teacher representation across multiple sub schools. 

 

I would also like to invite Expressions of Interest from our Range 2 Classroom teachers to become a Curriculum Leader, otherwise named our Aspirant Leaders.

 

Our Aspirant Leaders play a significant role in assisting the school to improve student performance and educational outcomes determined by the school strategic plan and state-wide priorities and contributing to the development and implementation of school policies and priorities. 

Key roles and responsibilities are:  

? Lead, under the guidance of the AP (T&L), a Curriculum Team, to develop curriculum in a major learning area with mentoring from a Middle Leader.  

? Collect evidence to audit curriculum plans under the guidance of the AP (T&L) 

? Participate in the School Improvement Team to strategically drive and take responsibility for school improvement by engaging, motivating and influencing staff to create collective responsibility for all students 

? Participate in the School Improvement Team to monitor the process of improvement and its impact on the learning, achievement and well-being of students. 

 

All Expressions of Interest must address 3 key success criteria (as attached) including your CV and responses addressing each of the criteria (no longer than 2 A4 pages) by Friday, 27th February 9am
