Year 4 Swimming Program

Year 4 students have been having a fantastic time participating in the swimming program this week. They’ve been working on building their confidence in the water and developing their technique, focusing on skills such as floating, breathing, and refining their strokes.

Each session finishes with some fun games that reinforce their learning and keep everyone engaged and active. It’s been great to see their enjoyment and progress grow each day.

Prep Parent Morning Tea

This morning, we warmly welcomed our Prep families to our Parent Morning Tea. It was a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect with staff and fellow families, build new relationships, and learn more about life at our school.

Seesaw: Connecting Home and School Learning

Gallery Image

In the Primary Years, Seesaw is used as a digital learning portfolio that helps families stay connected with what is happening in the classroom. It allows students to share their learning journey through photos, videos, voice recordings and work samples, giving you a window into their growth across the year.

We encourage families to regularly visit their child’s Seesaw journal. Taking a moment to view posts, add a like, or leave a positive comment shows students that their learning is valued and noticed beyond the classroom. Simple messages of encouragement help build confidence, celebrate effort, and motivate children to keep trying and improving. Your engagement plays an important role in strengthening the home–school partnership. When children see their families taking interest in their learning, it supports pride, reflection and a stronger sense of ownership over their progress.

Thank you for partnering with us as we celebrate learning together.

A Strong Start to Learning

During the first few weeks of school, teachers have work closely together to plan experiences that help students build strong foundations for learning to learn. This time focuses on developing routines, relationships and shared expectations that support success for all learners.

Across classrooms, students and teachers also co-construct our Essential Agreement, grounded in the shared belief that at the heart of our work is a commitment to every child’s growth and success. Together, we create a positive learning environment where students feel safe, valued and ready to thrive. To view more from our students’ perspective and learn about our approach to learning, please visit the IB page in our newsletter.
