Grade 2/3/4

It has been such a busy and fun last fortnight! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the Colour Run and it was great to see them having so much fun and getting involved! Congratulations to Elise who raised the most money from 2/3/4!

In Literacy, we have been continuing our study of 'Charlotte's Web'. We have been looking at compound sentences in depth, where they used different conjunctions to create these. The 2/3/4's have also been focussing on using more description in their writing to increase their skills in this area.

In Numeracy, the 2/3/4's have been exploring the concepts of graphing data and using directions to find items. The students enjoyed playing battle ships and followed instructions to ensure that they were correctly playing the game.

In Science, we conducted a fun experiment where students predicted and watched on as we saw how heat affected different coloured crayons!
