Hot Cross Buns
Thank you to everyone who purchased HCB in our take home pack fundraiser last term, we hope you enjoyed these Easter treats! The students thoroughly enjoyed the Hot Cross Bun Day at Canteen! The combined total raised was $350, thank you for participating.
Eastland Shop For Your School
We are thrilled to announce that MPS won second prize and $7000 cash towards our school fundraising! Thank you to all the families and wider community who collected and uploaded receipts on behalf of the school. Stay tuned for announcements on how the funds will be spent towards projects at the school.
MPS P&F AGM
Last Tuesday 16th April the Parents and Friends Association held the Annual General Meeting. The following committee members were elected:

We also welcome back Frances D'Oyley Carter and new members Gloria Bourke (grandparent to Rebecca and Ben) and Lakshmi Tattai Venkatathri (parent of Shravya & Shravan)
The 2023 annual report will be available shortly. New members are always welcome to attend meetings or provide suggestions, please feel free to reach out to any of our committee.
Trivia Night
Saturday 25 May 2024 7-11pm
HOPE Centre - Heathmont College
We are excited to announce tickets to our MPS Trivia Night will go on sale next week! Tickets will be available on Trybooking and also at the office. BYO food and drinks. Feel free to invite family and friends of MPS - past and present families welcome! Please note this is an over 18 event.
We are conducting a Silent Auction and will have prizes on the night so are seeking donations. If you or your workplace (or someone in your network) are able to donate any of the following please reach out to Jackie Dowds (jedowds@yahoo.com.au).
- individual products or items that could be combined into a bundle/hamper
- vouchers for goods or services
- tickets for experiences or events
- vouchers or pre-paid visa cards that can be used to purchase goods or services
A donation letter on MPS letterhead can be provided if required.
Mothers' Day/Special Person Stall
Our Mothers' Day / Special Person stall will be held on Wednesday 8th May. All gifts are $5 (limit 2 per student). Classes will visit the stall during class time. If you have any items to donate (baked goods are always popular!) please let Monique Mafrici (Jobe in grade 4) know.
Movie Night
Friday 28 June - 4.30pm (last day of Term 2)
One of the most anticipated events on the MPS calendar - the Movie Night will be held on Friday 28 June at 4.30pm at a local cinema. Stay tuned for further details in the coming weeks.
