School Council Annual General Meeting

At our School Council AGM last month, we held elections for office bearers. I was honoured to be appointed as President again – like many of you, I’m really excited about the direction that Tim is leading the school in and pleased to be able to support him. 

We were pleased to elect Jocelyn Blair as Vice President, Chris Barre as Treasurer and new Council member Simon Vistarini as Minutes Secretary. 

The remaining members of the School Council in 2024 are Diane Collis, Tanya Haynes-Ford, Colleen Starbuck and Helen Edwards. 

My sincere thanks to outgoing members Kelly Hamilton, Ebonie Rio and Lee Watson for their passion and dedication over the last few years. 

We are currently seeking volunteers to join the below sub-committees which will drive School Council’s work in 2024. If you are interested in making a difference to our school community, please contact the below conveyor or Tim to show your interest.    

• Publicity & Promotion sub-committee - Clare Arthurs 
• Building & Ground sub-committee – Tanya Haynes-Ford 
• Governance sub-committee – Colleen Starbuck - this is a new sub-committee that encompasses OSHC, policies and any other Governance contracts that School Council enters into.
