Year 7 update

Hello and Welcome Back to Term 2!

It is exciting to see our Year 7 Cohort return to Term 2 with an eagerness to learn and a willingness to try 😊 The Year 7s have hit the ground running and have demonstrated excellent work ethic across their classes.

During our first Connect session students got the opportunity to work as a class on determining the qualities required to build and maintain a respectful classroom environment and we look forward to seeing these qualities on display as we visit classes throughout the term.

We are also incredibly proud of our Year 7s as they demonstrated fantastic respect during our ANZAC Day Assembly. The students sat and listened to the stories of our local community members and were attentive throughout. 

Coming up in Week 5 we have the School Athletics Carnival where we are looking forward to seeing our Year 7s have a go at competing in the various events on offer.

We are very excited to see what the term holds for these Year 7s as they really settle into their secondary school life and begin to challenge themselves and what they’re capable of.
