NAPLAN 2024: Equipping Our Students for Success

We are delighted to inform you that the Online NAPLAN tests for our Year 7 and Year 9 students have commenced this week. As we navigate through this important testing period, we want to ensure that every student is fully equipped for success.

To facilitate a smooth and successful testing experience, we kindly ask all students to prepare adequately by ensuring they have the necessary equipment:

  • A fully charged iPad
  • Headphones (preferably plug-in)
  • Pencil case for any additional materials needed

The remaining NAPLAN testing schedule is as follows:

  • Reading (65 minutes)         - Friday, March 15
  • Conventions (45 minutes) - Monday, March 18
  • Numeracy (65 minutes)     - Tuesday, March 19
  • Catch-up Sessions              - Wednesday, March 20 - Monday, March 25

Please note that there will be only one assessment per day. In the event that your child misses a scheduled assessment, rest assured that there will be opportunities for catch-up sessions upon their return within the NAPLAN period.

Your support and cooperation play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our students during this testing period. We appreciate your ongoing involvement in your child's education journey.

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding the NAPLAN tests, please do not hesitate to contact us. Together, we can help our students achieve their fullest potential.

Year 9 Camp Information Night: Journey Ahead

Attention all Year 9 students, parents and caregivers! We are excited to invite you to an informative session on Monday at 6 pm in the CAS. This meeting will serve as a preparatory platform for the upcoming Year 9 camp, scheduled from May 8th to May 10th, Week Four of Term Two.

We will have Mary from Adventure Works joining us to discuss various aspects of the camp, including preparation, activities, amenities, group organisation and food.
