Maaraka Dabakarn Hands to Steady

Wanslea Early Childhood Approach will be delivering First Nations family information sessions Maaraka Dabakarn – Hands to Steady in Perth’s South and North regions. These sessions are designed to support First Nations families who have concerns for their child’s development by bringing together Allied Health professionals and First Nations Families.  The first session is planned for 28th March at 8:30am at Gwynne Park Primary School in Armadale.

There will be a Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Ears2Learn ear screening and Child Health Nurse at the session, to answer any questions or concerns family members may have regarding their child’s development. It will be an opportunity for families to find out about the other activities in their community that can help their child learn and develop. The team at the sessions can also assist families with making referrals to appropriate services.

Families can register for this free event by scanning the QR code on the attached flyer and will be directed to the booking platform, Humanitix.
