STUDENT LEADERSHIP 2024

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” – John Quincy Adams

USPS School Leaders

This week we are hearing from Eden about her experiences at Upwey South:

Q: What have your experiences been during your 7 years at Upwey South Primary School?

Eden:  It has been amazing through all my years at primary school, I have been in VSSS, summer and winter sports, Volleyball Cup and many more. I'm so lucky that I got the role as Buttons for the school production this year! From last year being House Leader for Coolibah and being a School Leader this year, it is so incredible and I'm so honoured to have this role. I'm looking forward to all the amazing events yet to come!

During our final assembly today, our four School Leaders signed their student pledges. Here are some happy snaps of this occasion.

Signing Off from the AP...

Term One has been a rewarding start to 2024. Students have participated in many exciting events and have shown respect, responsibility and resilience in all things they do. It has been a wonderful experience for me moving around the school and teaching in so many different year levels. I am building many positive relationships with our students and families and it fills my bucket daily, seeing our students walking into school, ready to face another day of learning in their classes.

I hope you all have a fantastic two week holiday, spending time with your family and with friends. Rest up and recharge.

Miss Humphries
