Assembly 

In class we have been reading the book 'My Place by Nadia Wheatley and Donna Rawlins'.

As we have been reading, we have learnt about key events in our history as well as the personal stories told by the characters in the book.

We carefully looked at each person's story and identified what each person shared about their life.  We used this learning to create our own version of 'My Place'.  We had to learn to use past tense and current tense language to tell our audience about our lives, where we live and a memory that is special to us.

We have chosen some of our favorite details from our memoir to share with you.  If you would like to read our whole version, please come and visit our classroom, they will be on display in our corridor.

Term 1, 2024

Friday 15th March - Class 1/2 with Ellen will be presenting. This will be our final Friday assembly for term 1.

Friday 22nd March - NO Assembly, due to Athletics Carnival

Family and friends are welcome to attend our assemblies on Monday (in the under-cover area) and Fridays (in the BER building). 

 If you are unwell, please refrain from attending.
