We are a Happy Families College!

Our College is now subscribed to the Happy Families School Website! 

Owned and run by Dr Justin Coulson, one of Australia’s leading parenting experts, the membership offers a wealth of parenting education and resources.

Justin has presented at Endeavour College on behalf of the Connected Schools, for the past two years on a range of helpful parenting topics. You may have seen him on Channel Nine’s Parental Guidance or regularly on morning television.

Instead of presenting in person at the College, we will regularly share resources available through the Happy Families Membership with you, including articles and webinars.

“How can I help my child be more resilient?” is a question Dr Justin Coulson often hears from worried mums and dads.

In this session, parents will learn the psychological secrets that build their child’s sense of identity, strengths, and growth mindset in order to perform better, be happier, and build resilience.

Based on Dr Justin Coulson’s best-selling book 9 Ways to a Resilient Child, this session shows parents how to help their children cope powerfully and positively with the challenges that life throws at them. This presentation is one of Justin’s most popular ones with powerful stories and illustrations that every parent can relate to. He explains the factors that help and hinder resilience, why common advice such as “toughen up Princess” just doesn’t work, and how competition and praise may undermine resilience.

Pre-Loved Uniforms:

New Process for Buying and Selling Second Hand Uniforms

There has been a slight change to the sale and purchase of pre-loved uniforms via our Uniform Shop.

These are the things you need to know:

If you have previously left pre-loved items at the Endeavour College Uniform Shop for us to sell on your behalf, you must do one of two things:

• Collect these items by Thursday 11 April 2024* (to sell via the new process determined by Dobsons via their website - for more on this see below)
• Donate to the College for use when we host international exchange students. If you choose this option, please contact admin@endeavour.sa.edu.au to advise us of your preference.

If you would like to sell pre-loved items, you will need to visit www.dobsons.com.au and scroll down to the UNIFORM SWAP SHOP: 

Once you have clicked on the image above, you will need to register your details to be able to post images and sell your pre-loved uniform items.

Once you have registered, you simply select the tab SELL AN ITEM and you can upload your image and the price along with how a buyer can get in a touch with you to arrange a purchase. 

* Please note that any items that have not been collected by Thursday 11 April, will be automatically donated to our international student exchange program.

ONLINE: Dobsons provides an online ordering service for both click-and-collect and home delivery ($10 charge for delivery). 

If collecting an online order, please ensure you change the option to pick up as it defaults to delivery.
