What a fantastic Term in Science with Years 1, 3 and 5! We have been studying Biology by growing beans, hatching monarch butterflies, investigating all things tiny garden animals, and discovering how various adaptations work to keep animals healthy and alive. There have been lots of spontaneous moments, with students excitedly bringing in various discoveries from home and the school yard to share, and I’ve often been frantically summoned into the playground to investigate the latest nature event detected by keen little eyes! 

It has also been fantastic to spend time getting to know the Preps during their fortnightly visits and to see them becoming confident and capable learners with each session! Next Term the Preps will explore Physical Science and I am very much looking forward to delivering Biological Science to Years 2, 4 and 6.
